5 Card Draw

5 Card Draw is played by a maximum of five players and is a game in which each player receives five cards dealt face down. In 5 Card Draw, you do not get to see any of your opponents' cards. The only information you have about their hands is how they bet and how many cards they draw.

Starting the game

5 Card Draw is played with two blinds (forced bets), paid by the first two players seated after the dealer.

Dealing the cards

In 5 Card Draw, players are dealt five down (concealed) cards each.

The Rounds

There are two betting rounds. Players who stay in on the first round have a chance to change or improve their hands by replacing none, some, or all of their cards.

These players receive new cards (in an exchange known as the draw) before moving on to a second round of betting, followed by a showdown.

The blinds are posted by the two players to the left of the dealer. The dealer is indicated by a round white button with the letter 'D' in front of the player. The dealer button moves clockwise around the table after each hand.

Each player is dealt five cards face down. These cards can only be seen by the player that receives them. The first round of betting starts with the player to the left of the big blind.

The draw starts with the player to the left of the dealer. Each player is given the opportunity to change up to all 5 cards. The last round of betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer.

The Winner

Showdown - The player with the best hand wins the pot. If two or more players have the best hand they will split the pot.

Disconnection

If the player is disconnected before or during the draw round and fails to reconnect before the timeout, the player's cards will automatically be changed. If you hold any of the following hands then these cards will be kept if automatic change takes place:
1. Hand with two pair or higher.
2. Open royal straight flush draw (KQJ10 suited)
3. High pairs (AA,KK,QQ,JJ)
4. Straight flush draw or flush draw
5. Low pairs (1010 and below)
6. Open straight draw
7. Gutshot straight draw
8. High card (A,K,Q,J)
9. No cards saved
