...25,000 reasons to play Mansion…

Although it is always frustrating to bust out so close to the limelight of a final table, we think player Saage will be quite happy with his performance once that disappointment settles.

Nursing his short-stack for hours upon hours eventually earned him just over $25,000 and a top 25 position in the $5,000 shorthanded event. Not bad for a $300 buy-in into the WSOP Side Events qualifier at Mansion.com. Well done Saage indeed!

....Keeping a low profile, player .theGatherer hung on long enough in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event to cash out approximately $2,500. Good going and that’s not all….theGatherer added more than $10,000 to $2,500 he won in the first of the three events he won entry into by bagging a WSOP Side Events package on mansion.com placing 49th in the massively subscribed $1,500 NLHE event and picking up a further $8,500.

The Main Event saw 3 casualties early on with Mansion Sponsored Professional Marc Mr Cool Goodwin, _DHM1803_, cptiger all falling out on the first day.

Planet72 – Thorsten Goebel played 6 hours or so on the featured TV table taking on some of the worlds greatest, before his Aces were cracked by pocket 5’s and another unlucky elimination.

Good news for the remaining players as Haibomi starts day 2 with 95,000, tuplarenu1 27,600, 2runners2me 12,800, callerconny 50,650.

Also for day 2 we have bmhyski –with 55,125, superbock3 with 17,200, jammyrag1 –with 14,725, boomer797 –with 40,550, kevinzwsop05 with 70,350, Sandrey88 with 5,500 and RUN_FISH_RUN with 11,350.

And Player tuplarenu1 – Hannu Korva – makes day 3 with 114K in chips…
